Raise funds and Raise Awareness

MAY 4th 11 AM - Lake Merritt

Running has been a part of indigenous traditions across the Americas for centuries.  It is also a great way to raise funds and awareness for a great cause.   At 67Sueños we want to honor the tradition of running, of being close to the land and in deep meditation with ourselves.  We also want to raise some funds to make an amzing public mural that can impact the immigration debate this summer.  We've combined these goals in our 5k Challenge project.  Now all we need is YOU

We are partnering with Mechxa of UC Berkeley for a 5K Run / Walk / Roll on May 4th @ 11 AM.  Just pick a Migrant justice cause to run for and a goal for your fundraising efforts in support of 67 Sueños.  Run for Domestic Workers left out of the immigration debate.  Run for the 1.6 million deported fathers and mothers missing from the current proposals.  After the run tell the crowd gathered at Lake Merritt why you ran and why we struggle.

Please register to RUN WITH 67Sueños!!!  After registering you will be invited to an information setion to get you started on your 5K migrant Justice Challenge.  We can set a fundraising goal and keep track of your progress.  We will also keep track of our collective progress and we can be in comunication with you to support your training and/or fundraising efforts.  Join the team.  If you cannot commit to fundraising, we still want you to help us lift up the important issues by registering the day of the run and letting people know why you ran.
